I liked the fact that it came with replacement rods for the fire starter, though finding additional ones might pose a challenge. The bottle opener and the line cutter were functional and are features I see myself using often on fishing trips. The flathead screwdriver is a nice touch, albeit a bit broad for smaller screws and too shallow for the larger ones. However, it’s a decent tool for emergencies, like cutting seat belts. Though it’s designed for safety with a V-shaped notch, it barely accommodates 550 paracords, making it tricky to slice through. The utility cutter was a tad disappointing. It’s not my go-to fire starter, especially when I only have a few sticks, but it’s a neat backup and works wonders with good tinder or when lighting a stove. My first few attempts were a bit frustrating, but with some practice, I managed to get a solid spark. It took some getting used to, especially coming from using larger fire rods. It reminisces the thrill of striking an old-school lighter, spraying satisfying sparks with every flick. The fire striker wheel was what intrigued me the most. As someone who’s always on the lookout for compact and multifunctional tools, this one seemed like a promising companion for my outdoor adventures.
